The famous Rumtek monastery at it's core - a complete 180° panorama of the campus.

Thsi picture is yet another production of the L100 camera of which also aided creation of the panorama within the device itself, so no Photoshop aid was needed for the panorama. Only a bit of color-correction and cropping was enough for this image.

The place is calm; very calm in deep down inside. Even though the internal politics of this place torments the entire Buddhist community worldwide, you'd never have a clue when you are there. It forced me to feel the spread of its power and influence, the real range of this place was far more than the place confined within the walls. And to envision this, the concept of this panorama came.
